Sprint 9.5 Engineering Log
Program Context
- Phase: Phase 3
- Sprint: Sprint 9.5
- Status: Completed
- Primary Architecture Layers: Telemetry Ingestion, Orchestration Pipeline
Architectural Intent
Standardize asynchronous telemetry delivery via broker abstraction with reliability semantics suitable for production operations.
Implementation Detail
RabbitMQ-first TelemetryPublisher abstraction, async delivery path, bounded retries, DLQ routing, idempotency key handling, and dockerized runtime wiring were implemented.
Security and Control Posture
- AAA scope and authorization boundaries are enforced according to current orchestrator policy.
- Telemetry and audit events are expected to remain structured, attributable, and export-ready.
- Integration interfaces are maintained as loosely coupled contracts to preserve VectorVue interoperability.
QA and Validation Evidence
Unit and integration suites validated publish/consume behavior, queue semantics, and remote endpoint configuration handling.
Risk Register
Primary risk was message duplication and delivery inconsistency; mitigated with idempotency and dead-letter design.
Forward Linkage
Sprint 9.6 advanced operator interfaces (web UI + admin TUI).
