Sprint 8.5 Engineering Log
Program Context
- Phase: Phase 3
- Sprint: Sprint 8.5
- Status: Completed
- Primary Architecture Layers: Detection Engine, Telemetry Ingestion, Orchestration Pipeline
Architectural Intent
Harden real-operator execution paths and ensure manual-ingestion resilience for remote tooling environments.
Implementation Detail
Unprivileged Nmap fallback mode, manual Metasploit ingestion connector, checkpoint deduplication, and operator sync CLI entrypoint were implemented.
Security and Control Posture
- AAA scope and authorization boundaries are enforced according to current orchestrator policy.
- Telemetry and audit events are expected to remain structured, attributable, and export-ready.
- Integration interfaces are maintained as loosely coupled contracts to preserve VectorVue interoperability.
QA and Validation Evidence
Unit and integration tests validated deduplication, ingestion sequencing, and telemetry handoff stability.
Risk Register
Primary risk was duplicate/partial ingestion under intermittent remote access; mitigated with checkpoint-based state progression.
Forward Linkage
Sprint 9 completed formal Metasploit QA for exploit and telemetry behavior.
